Medina (Alysicarpus vaginalis) is a cherished evergreen herb native to Jamaica, known locally as “God Bush.” Thriving year-round in tropical climates, its leaves are wild-harvested from the forested plains of St. Catherine and milled into a fine powder by Natural Pearls of Jamaica.

HOW TO PREPARE MEDINA TEA

1. Bring water to a boil
2. Add ½ – 1 teaspoon of powder to your cup
3. Pour boiling water over the powder and stir
4. Cover and steep for 5 – 10 minutes
5. Strain if desired, sweeten with honey, and enjoy

Recommended: one cup up to twice daily. Do not consume for more than 7 consecutive days within a month. Consult your healthcare provider before regular use if you are pregnant or diabetic, or have high blood pressure or a cardiac condition.
